Let's talk about the Jaguars

No rest for the weary. The train keeps rolling on.

This is going to be a huge test, but at least its at home.

How does this one play out?

They have a very deep core of receivers. I have no faith whatsoever that we can hold them under 30. This game is on the offense. #1 O vs #1 D. Their D is on a whole different level to any other D in the league. Will be a huge challenge, especially for our OL.

This game scares the shit out of me - especially considering the short week, coming off a brutal, emotional win against our top division rival. At least it's being played in KC, so I'll call it a toss up. I do feel a bit better knowing that the Jags aren't perfect - let's not forget how they shit their pants against the Titans a couple of weeks ago.

Sure wish they weren't up next, though. This would be a wonderful time to play the Cardinals.

Hope you're right. Of course I thought we were screwed tonight and that ended up pretty well.

God, this kid is special. He's got Rodgers' arm, Young's legs and Montana's poise. After five ****ing games. Still doesn't seem real.

I will post the maps when they come out, but just a reminder that you might want to start making plans to see this one.

Re that JAX-KC week 5 game: it's CBS's singleheader that week, can't air in either NYC or LA, and Fox's top DH game is Eagles-Vikings.

Might go down as the best game of the year nobody gets to see.

After all the shit we've suffered, we deserve it though. I'm just going to enjoy it and gloat A LOT.

Whomever said we have an easy schedule can F right off!

Our gift the week after is a trip to Gillette.

I wish they weren't preparing this week with all the film of what Denver's defense did.

IF we were on the road AND IF they had Fournette, I'd think we lose this one.

But a number of our issues on offense yesterday seemed related to the crowd noise and timing. That's not going to be a factor on Sunday. They obviously now have tape of what Denver did, but Mahomes just wasn't sharp in the first half. And no one is going to be able to defend him outside the pocket so flush him from there at your own peril.

Chiefs 31 Jags 21.

Chiefs 31 Jags 21.

The Chiefs biggest problem, IMO, last night was dealing with the crowd noise and getting the line calls made in the face of that. Fisher struggled especially.

That won’t be a factor in Arrowhead. Hopefully that helps make up for some of the gap between Jax D and Denver D.

And if things aren’t clicking... they can always spread the field and let Mahomes create and improvise.
