I think the lower was red/orange (more red than burnt orange IMO), the middle yellow and the upper deck orange.

When they changed the seats out during the renovation they were piled to the sky in NKC at a junkyard near Bedford Ave.
You could buy them there but dont recall what they were going for. |

They got a deal on the seats from the vendor who supplied them to both Arrowhead and Royals stadium, hence the orange/red.

I wish I could get a close-up look at a photo of those seats. I worked as a food vendor there from 1982-88 while in high school and college. My college's school color is maroon (University of Chicago) and yet I somehow never thought of those seats as a shade of red, let alone maroon...reddish-orange seems plausible.

They redid the seats before the renovation. Want to say late 90's

Yes, but I somehow think the Royals Stadium lower level seats were not the same color as the ones in the upper deck at Arrowhead. The lower deck at Arrowhead had orange seats that were the same (or very close) to the Royals' upper-deck seats. But I thought Arrowhead's upper deck had seats that were clearly red (or at least much more red than orange).

Coral
I bought a 1978 Coral Ford E 150 Econoline Van my first new vehicle. My friends would always ask why I bought a reddish orange van and I would snap back its coral. It was either take that one off the lot or order and wait 3 to 6 months. That Van matched the seats to a tee. |
