Official schedule drops in a couple weeks. First and foremost, the essentials:

HOME: Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers, Oakland Raiders, Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Jacksonville Jaguars, San Francisco 49ers

AWAY: Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers, Oakland Raiders, Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Rams, New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers, Seattle Seahawks

Let's discuss what games we think could be primetime matchups. What games do you think will actually be primetime games?

Who do you hope to play week 1? Assuming that it is Mahomes' debut as the official starter, this could be significant. Where do you want the bye week?

Who do you see as the toughest matchups? Easiest? etc.

It may look it in a way, but the Browns are, well the Browns as are the Cardinals. The Rams lost 4 of their 5 on the road, Mexico although listed as a home game is really a road game for both teams and we don't know how the new attitudes are going to gel. The Ravens are a tough team. The Steelers are not better than the Jags nor are the Seahawks better than the 49ers. We did beat the Patriots in their house last season.

No.

Prime Time is between 8pm-11pm, EST. In the Midwest, it's 7pm-10pm.

On the West Coast, it's 8pm-11pm but NFL games are broadcast at 5:25pm because it's a "Live" sporting event.

Given that the Chiefs have a new, inexperienced QB, a defense that is in flux and a seemingly tougher schedule, I have no real idea what they will do this year. I expect growing pains with some exciting plays along with some rookie mistakes. Win or lose, I expect this team to be competing for a championship by 2020.

Take care of the home games, division games and the rest will sort itself out. Can't imagine the Patriots on the road to start the season two years in a row. Should get NE, PIT, LAR, DEN, OAK in prime time.

I agree. Most years, I can predict our games within a win or 2. I will predict 10-6. But that's more of a cop out, because they seem to average 10 wins a year under Reid.

NFL to release 2018 regular-season schedule Thursday



The schedule will be announced exclusively on NFL Network during the 2018 NFL Schedule Release Presented by Verizon at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday as part of a two-hour long special. The special will be hosted by Scott Hanson and feature NFL Network analysts Steve Mariucci, Kurt Warner and Maurice Jones-Drew. It'll break down the entire schedule, division by division, analyzing the top matchups and prime-time games, including the 18-game Thursday Night Football schedule on FOX and NFL Network.

The announcement comes after last week's unveiling of the 2018 preseason schedule.

In January, the NFL revealed each team's opponents for the 2018 season.
