Veteran free agent CB Orlando Scandrick, released by the #Redskins today, is already drawing significant interest on the market. Source said the #Chiefs are the first team to bring him in for a visit, and he’s flying there tonight. 🛫

Yup. Exactly this. I'd rather watch Tremon Smith or some other turd get burned. At least you have some "what if's" and "maybe he'll be better next week" in there.

With Orlando you know what you have and you know it will only get worse.

Kansas City was in the dime defense 42% of the time last year. Much, much higher than almost every team.

And FWIW, nothing personal with this discussion. I enjoy having real detailed conversation on here, which isn’t always common. It’s nice to see different perspectives.

At the end of the day, I just appreciate an aggressive approach to improving the team. That’s what Veach does, love or hate the specific moves.

Also, i have to wonder about that grade now. Apparently, he was rarely on the field. Small sample size.

This is incorrect according to ESPN. The Packers played more dime and other teams, such as the Broncos and Chargers were within a few % of the Chiefs.

I dont think they will be in the dime that much this year. Reports from training camp is they are almost exclusively in 2-4-5 and 3-3-5. almost no dime looks. I'd image they don't have the talent for it like in years past. Probably want to use their investments in their front 7 more.

How many 3 down ILB are there that are primarily run stuffers? Not very damn many league wide.
There is a difference between SS and FS, they are not interchangeable not matter whether you think they should be or not.
