The 2016 Kansas City Chiefs Prediction Thread

There's probably been others. I don't give a shit. Be as in depth or as short winded as you'd like on the subject. I know the draft hasn't happened yet, but how often do you get immediate first year impact players in the draft when you draft in the high 20's? You can also wait until after the draft to comment on how you think this year is going to go. Or you can not ever comment on it all. I don't give a shit.

Frankly, I think it's going to be a frustrating year and we're going to watch Oakland or Denver win the division. I think Oakland is a potential playoff team, and Denver's defense is still all world, one of the best ever assembled. So they're going to win games. They could sign Tim ****ing Tebow and be over .500. They could sign Warren ****ing Moon and still be over .500. **** them in the ass with Lil Smoke's herpes penis. Their time to rot is coming. I'm confident of it.

Regardless, where does that leave us? We don't have a terrible schedule on paper. You never really know though because teams that were great last year will suck this year, and vice versa. I like that we have 3 home games in a row, 2 of which will be nationally televised to end our year. Our defense is still pretty stout as well, when healthy. Losing Sean Smith will be a blow to the defense. Justin Houston not playing x number of games this season will hurt us as well. Dee Ford needs to step the mother**** up if this team is going to compete for a division championship, or even a wild card spot.

Ultimately, I'm incredibly dissatisfied with this offseason, and feel we lost far more than we gained, and made no kind of splash at all because we have to pay our own guys. I'm a little pissed that Eric Berry is playing on the franchise tag considering we threw him $5 million to not play while he battled cancer. We could've tagged Smith instead and made a ****ing Super Bowl run this year.

This is genuinely a year I could see a 10-6 team not make the playoffs. Hope it's not us, but bracing myself to watch the 2 teams I hate the most make the playoffs while we sit at home. It seems like the last couple of times we've made the playoffs, the following year was a disappointment and led to a lot of head scratching. We'll see if it's different this time. I'm a diehard like most of you and am in desperate need of seeing this team take the next step.

What do you think? Right, wrong, different, die in an AIDS fire while jacking off to Caitlyn Jenner? Sound off folks. I wanna know what you think.

Agreed. I expect their offense to be much better. Benjamin was quietly one of the best FA signings.

Pretty off topic but does anyone else wonder just how many plays Reid uses throughout a given season? Which ones are staple plays? (Save the screen jokes Lol)

It's supposed to be a really complex offense. I'd love to know the amount of formations, plays, motions, etc that go into however many plays are taught. Unfortunately, I don't have coaches film.

They are but rivers looked to be in the downside last year. I wouldn't be surprised to see them continue to slide

12-4 and win the division. Anything less than the AFCCG will be disappointing to me.

Those are some scary weapons for Rivers to play with especially with our secondary (pre-draft).

He was a great deep ball Thrower but looked bad last year. Could be lack of weapons but I thought he looked worse overall.

The improved quality of Chiefs Oline, starters and depth, will help the Chiefs be at or near the top of the league in time of possession, average yards per rush attempt, red zone efficiency, and QB efficiency. That will make a well rested defense more effective especially when they're defending a lead.

12-4 with as good a chance as any AFC team of making the SB.

Man, I'm pretty surprised by the optimism in this thread. The Chiefs are going to lose the best part of their pass rush and have a weaker secondary. In what way are they better?

I dont see it, personally....but I would love it.

I dont think denver will do as well....I was a little worried about the Raiders the last couple of years, but that organization is cursed so I would be surprised if they do well. I can see them about 8-8, mediocre. Chargers I really have no idea....my gut says they dont do very well....but I have seen the arguments they had an overly rough year last season. I'm thinking fairly medicore to bad season....

I guess theres more than one way to look at it....I dont see any team in the AFCW winning a TON of games....but I also dont see any 2-14 teams either..

So maybe total wins for the division we are up there, but I see it as being spread out amongst the 4 teams more evenly. So maybe I stand corrected and 'bad division' is a bit of an overstatement. But I dont think an AFC W team will be in the AFC CC game.
