24 and 3 straight 1,000 yard seasons.

Cooks isn’t trash.

Yes, Brees and Brady. Who can make any player look over the top.

The contract is really a 2/3 year contract with 29 of of it guaranteed, so it isn't as bad as I first thought.

Which makes it so bizarre that LA is paying Cooks because Goff didn't have a lot of success with Watkins last year, who is also a speed/deep threat receiver. I'm not mad that they're throwing money at a guy who hasn't even played for them and further ****ing their salary cap space, I'm just confused by the move overall.

Brandin Cooks is an interesting case, can't argue with the production in his last 3 seasons as he has been over 1000 yards receiving and averaging 75 catches per season. It is a little bit concerning though that two teams were willing to move on from Cooks already in his short NFL career.

Saying Cooks only has speed is wrong- Darrius Heyward-Bey, Jacoby Ford are guys who only have speed. You don't get 1000 yards receiving 3 straight seasons just because you have straight away speed.

For discussion sake- what separates Tyreek Hill from Brandin Cooks?

Hill didn't have two HOF QBs throwing to him.

Fair- I meant more in regards to what their skill sets are. For the record I like Tyreek's game a lot more than Cooks.

It's going to be tough.

I think the key is going to be finding ONE of those guys to extend and letting the rest walk. Hopefully Mahomes really is like Favre where he can make almost anything into a pretty good WR.

The Packers have been paying all kinds of extensions to Aaron Rodgers weapons over the years while letting key contributors on defense walk, all while being really quiet in free agency.

When we do end up having to pay Mahomes, we can't let ourselves become the Ted Thompson Packers.

Y'all are acting like having too many good players is a problem. The only thing the Rams have to worry about is which of their star players to keep around and which star players to send away.

The Chiefs hopefully will have this problem soon.
