Anyone diggging Tremonti?
I'm loving these guys. Named after Mark Tremonti, the lead singer/lead guitarist: founder and lead guitarist of Creed and Alter Bridge.

I prefer Alter Bridge because of Myles Kennedy but Mark's taken several steps forward on this record in terms of his voice.

One of my friend's owns a promotional company that has Tremonti as a client and I've heard nothing but good things about him and the band, including Wolfie.

Yeah, this is dumb as ****.

Alter Bridge is a phenomenal modern rock band. Mark is a ****ing sick shredder and their songs are bad ass. The last album was really heavy with some songs bordering on thrash.

They've also been produced by the the two best modern rock producers today in Elvis Baskette and Ben Grosse.

I'd advice listening before spewing bullshit.

I'm not a big rock fan, but I love me some Alter Bridge. All of their CDs are very good.

Huh, no shit. I didn't know Eddie's kid played with Tremonti.

He's a hell of a guitarist. I don't own any of his stuff yet, but I enjoy it when I hear it.

Yeah, Wolf appears on both records as their bassist and back up singer but he went out on tour with Van Halen instead of Tremonti's first tour a few years back. From my understanding, he'll be out with them this time out and I'm sure Eddie will be out there with them, too.

Wolf's his first solo record, in which he plays every instrument and sings, is in the mixing stage. It's also produced by Elvis Baskette, who's done the last four Alter Bridge records, the last Slash & Myles Kennedy record and both of Tremonti's records.

I love his work.

Myles Kennedy with Slash has been pure gold. I love listening to those guys. For some reason, Alter Bridge never really stuck out to me.

I am pretty amazed, like you said, with Mark's increase in vocal ability. I guess when you work alongside Scott Stapp and Myles Kennedy you pick up a thing or two. It's not that he couldn't sing; Mark has had some skills his back up vocals (Check out Thousand Faces by Creed), I think he's just developing his range and diversity, which is needed as a frontman.

This is true. Alter Bridge is a great band. And Tremonti is an underated guitarist. I like his solo album.
