those 5 Chiefs in the Pro Bowl was probably an attractive reason Reid wants to come here

he can build around said 5 and with those 5 (to 7) can become instantly competitive in year 1. That's all you can ask for. Those 5 are certainly better than Arizona's top 5 players. Though Arizona definitely has better depth roster wise, but worse FO structure (haha their owner sucks)

"Pursuit" of someone is putting a stamp on the franchise? Kind of a low bar to clear.

"The worst Chiefs season in franchise is history is less than a week in the past, and Hunt appears to be giving his best effort to rebrand this thing back to respectability.

Absentee owner? Hunt’s got your absentee right here."

Yeah, not a week out and he still hasn't fired Pioli and supposedly still HAS him involved in scaring away talent by letting Pioli in meetings about the new people!

As for being an absentee owner, Sam, if you're going to drop the "less than a week" bullshit, then keep with it, one week of improved "team" focus doesn't make you a resident and passionate owner either. Especially when any number of other teams HAVE fired their under-performing GMs and Clark's still thinking...

If Andy Reid is hired, who cares about Pioli? We know he's way down the chain of command. He can't hurt us anymore.

As for Chunt.... To say this is one week and that he's done nothing is just plain wrong. In one week, he took everything away from Pioli, and said he's going to do it better. And of any team, our owner is pretty much putting clown shoes on other teams' owners and GMs. So I'd say he's done quite a bit.

Now... lovefest aside, what remains to be seen is Clark is committed to winning Super Bowls, or if his goal is to start getting butts in the seat again. I don't know the answer to that. If Reid gets this team to the playoffs every year, restores the roar at Arrowhead, but never wins a Super Bowl or comes close... I still think he'll be here 10 years.

Stop sucking Clark's dick. That will only happen once we win a playoff game. And how sad is it that Clark will be anointed savior if we win one ****ing playoff game!? A ****ing playoff game! Most teams in this league shoot for a Super Bowl....we shoot for one playoff win every 20 years.

Save it until this franchise actually proves it's worth.

While it seems hopeful, there is a chance that D-Cromartie ends up as our #2 if the Eagles decide he isn't worth his salary (I don't think he's a URFA, can't recall).
