How Would You Stop the Broncos Outside Zone?

Kubiak back to Denver=even more wide zone. The Broncos already ran it quite a bit last year but it's safe to say we'll be seeing it quite a bit more.

So, let's just assume that for this scenario:
1st and 10
Ball at Broncos 20.
Broncos:
Personnel: Regular (2 backs, 1 TE, 2 WR)
Alignment:

Due to the balanced look, you can choose for the play (outside zone) to be called to either side. Please specify which.

Chiefs:
Personnel: Base 3-4

Now, let's see what the excellent minds of ChiefsPlanet can come up with. Choose your front, slants, blitzes, slants/scrapes and describe how/why you'll handle the Broncos outside zone. I will post some fronts the Chiefs use for reference.

Some .gifs below of the Ravens running outside zone:

I'd also like to alert people to the last .gif. #74 does an excellent Eric Fisher impression.

I'll be honest and tell you I have no idea what you are talking about. My chiefs / sports in general interest is trashed upon the arrival of one Alex Smith and the departure of two second round picks.

That said, thank you for sharing this knowledge, although I have nothing useful to add I savor your information. Thanks from the peanut gallery.

I start with the base 3-4, and if you get a run read:
DL: 0-tech + 5-tech (with DJ having the option to move one or the other to 4i)
ILB: Read and stack the A gap to the direction of the play (1st LB'er may end up taking on a guard if neither the NT or DE wins inside)
OLB: Contain
CB: Off-man
SS: Robber
FS: Single high

I honestly don't think scheme matters nearly as much as discipline within whatever scheme you're running.

But this looks pretty good, though I might go with a stacked 43.
