The NFL Network show about the Saints
Typical stuff, but one thing was really, really cool.
In the Saints' first game back, Steve Gleason blocked a punt on the opening drive, which we've all heard about. One of the photographers took this photograph: Roughly ten years later, linebacker Mike Mauti (the son of a former Saint) blocked a punt against the same team. The same photographer took this photo: Then it gets more weird. When Mauti blocked his punt, Gleason was a retired player watching in the stands. And... When Gleason blocked his punt, Mauti was a kid watching in the stands. Is that pretty cool or what? |
