Baylor's defense is making everybody look good bro. I think Geno is a good QB, but I'm not ready to crown him with franchise QB potential just yet.

If he wrecks K-State's defense next week I'll feel much better better about him.

Against the Baylor shut down defense, no less. TCU's backup just put up 261 and 4 TDs on that weak shit. Baylor is about as far from the NFL defenses as you can get.

I have said this many times before.

I don't give a rat's ass about numbers.

When I watch Geno Smith, I see a QB with outstanding pocket awareness, outstanding foot mechanincs in the pocket, outstanding field vision.

Any QB that has no running game to support him is going to struggle against good defenses that can bring pressure.

That is illustrated by the fact that Tom Brady has struugled twice against the Giants in the SB.

Anyone who has watched Smith and comes away unimpressed is a ****ing moron who doesn't know what to look for from the QB position.

Anyone pimping Tyler Wilson over Geno Smith needs to be neutered so his moronacy isn't perpetuated.

I'm a fan. Just not Saccoshit give away 10 drafts for Geno crazy fan. IF we can get him with our pick or a few picks I'm fine with it. I'm way more impressed with RGIII.

****ing this.

It's not like this team doesn't have holes and has depth at every position. People on this board think QB is the ONLY problem on this team and Geno is a guaranteed all-pro...

If he is there when we draft...take him. But **** "give up whatever it takes to get him". He is NOT worth that...

I was a fan of RGIII, and would have traded whatever necessary to get him.

There are a couple of things about RGIII that I like better, like his athleticism and speed, and his superior arm strength.

But at the end of the day, I still believe that it is pocket passers that lead teams to championships, and I believe that RGIII is that guy, but I also believe that Smith is more advanced, and more instinctive in the pocket already.

Yeah we basically agree. I want the guy, just not his baby.

Not entirely.

I'm with Sac.

I'd trade entire drafts.

I believe the Aaron Rodgers comparison is a very good one.
I think this kid has that kind of talent and potential.

I don't care about the other needs on this team.

The Packers had no running game and a crap O-Line and still won a SB.

An elite QB can mask huge holes, and I believe in Smith's potential to be elite.
