If the majority of the offense stays healthy, Smith should set new highs in individual stats.
1. 4th year in this offense now. 2. 2nd year with Maclin, 3rd with Kelce, 2nd with Conley. His timing with them should be even better now. This is, by far, the best skills group that Smith has ever had to play with. 3. The OL is the best that its ever been under Reid here in KC. In the previous years, playcall was limited by the play of the OL. Reid and Smith had to compensate for a weak pass protecting OL by calling a lot of quick hitters and pretty much abandoning the 7 step drops. 4. The defense is weaker. How much weaker, we won't know until the actual season starts. That means more shootouts and Smith being forced to throw more. Let's see if this offense and Smith can rise to the occasion and cover for the defense. |

imo Alex Smith's biggest weakness is anticipating pressure Not throwing the deep pass like most people say, but staying skittish for the rest of the game after a few pressures.

We are thankful Clay. We were all thankful for the gifs and other videos that you used to post. When you got butthurt that we didn't draft Smith, those stopped and you became a pain in the ass until you disappeared for a while. And we were thankful for that as well. Bring back the highlight videos and the gifs and make us all thankful for that too.

I think we would be very happy if Alex put up those numbers this year. That is like saying Elvis Grbac is the same as Steve Young and Randall Cunningham. Two are similar mobile QB's that made plays with their arms and legs-one was a turd. |

This is biased and incorrect.
* 11-5 record- 2nd best as a Chief-and a big improvement over 2014 * First Playoff win as a Chief. * 3486 Yards - Highest total as a Chief * 95.4 QBR- Highest as a Chief * 498 Rushing yards-up from 254 in 2014 and highest total as a Chief. * 2 Rushing Td's-50% improvement. |

I was at that game. I don't get to many and felt pretty good about the game I drew.

Come on, man. He's a QB. Yards per game: 2014 - 217.7 2015 - 217.9 TDs per game (i'll even include rushing TDs): 2014 - 1.26 2015 - 1.37 Even sacks remained the same. Stagnation supreme. Granted, he had 15 yards rushing more per game in 2016. If that's massive improvement to you, stroke it baby, stroke it! |

People didn't expect the OL to be as much of a disaster as it ended up being last season.
Despite Smith being one of the fastest QBs in terms of getting rid of the football and the offense being built around the quick and short passing game, he was still sacked 46 times. |

If the Chiefs win the SB this year-will you still be complaining about passes over 5 yards? |
