****OFFICIAL Chiefs Injury Update Thread****

We're getting to a crucial part of the season, and right now it feels like the most important thing to keep track of is the health of a handful of key guys. When Maclin comes back he'll be able to attract enough attention to make Kelce and Hill even more effective, and when Ford comes back, well, the pass rush could become literally unstoppable. Then there's Poe's nagging back spasms, Howard's hip, and Alex Smith's severe allergic reaction to throwing the ball downfield.

Starting this thread to have a centralized place for updates, speculation, and wbf's! Have fun, folks!!!

CURRENT UPDATES:

Justin Houston is PRACTICING today, and Andy Reid thinks he'll be ready to go on Sunday!

Phillip Gaines is OUT for Sunday... whatever!

STAY TUNED FOR OFFICIAL DESIGNATIONS!!!

I didn't realize that Reyes was hurt, but that is 2 starters and a quality backup not practicing today. We need these guys to get healthy. Our defensive line has been the hardest hit by injuries this year. If Poe and Howard don't play, then that will be the entire starting line from week 1 out of the game. Thankfully, Dorsey has built good depth there. But there is still a drop off. Will this team ever be at full strength?
On another note. It's good not seeing Maclin, Ford, and Nelson on that list.

I'm betting Houston's was a 'rest day' type of situation yesterday. Regardless, it's good to see that pretty much everyone is ready to roll. I highly doubt Poe plays this week though, which is the right call if it means he'll be ready for the rest of the season.

Jones, Nacho, and the rest of the gang better show up Sunday.

I have to think even being limited this many days in a row is a very good sign considering the types of injuries.

I'm just super nervous that Poe's back is going to turn into another herniated disc soon... the Gronk news has led me to be pretty paranoid about the situation.

I wouldn't feel near as concerned if we hadn't lost Bailey and Howard already.
