Typical Chiefplanet overreaction. Justin Houston has a great gm now he is better than Von Miller. Heard nothing about that last season. Pats lose a game, they are not going to make the playoffs. Chiefs win and they are the best team in the AFC.

Lets all calm down and relax. I like J Houston as much as anyone but I want to see him do it in the playoffs.

I know he can do it. He has probably just been slowed by his injuries. But as of right now

I like the way he demands the world of Houston, an all-pro from head to toe, yet we're supposed to just click our ****ing heels together and "believe" in Shitty Smitty McPlayofftard.

There is literally NOTHING in the entire universe of professional sports that I would love MORE than to see that San Francisco bathhouse reject gleaming in his blue helmet and orange jersey as Houston pile-drives his ass to the dirt again and again and again.

He plays very well vs the run as well. Pats had all their rushing yards at Ford.

Other posters mentioned it but that's what impresses me the most about a healthy J Houston. He's just as good against the run as he is against the pass.

The only thing holding him back from being a top 10 NFL player this year would be his health. He seems to get hurt a lot. We need him to stay healthy this year because Eric Berry is gone so we need J Houston more than ever!

So far so good. He was amazing last Thursday.

Well, hopefully, Parker won't fall on his leg again since he is soo fragile.

Too bad he is not like Vonn Dbag and never missed a season due to injury...oh yeah, he did too.

And he is as good as a pass defender in coverage as he is as a run defender.

He is, when healthy, the most complete OLB in the league, bar none.

I sometimes wish he wasn't so adept as a cover backer.
Maybe Sutton wouldn't use in that role so often.

He is, far and away, our best pass rusher, and is as disruptive a force in that role as anyone in the league.

If Houston stays 100% healthy I will be generally surprised if he doesn't win DPOY.

He is an absolute Force.

He effects every snap. There is not a more disruptive presence in the league. There is not a Lineman in the league that can defend themselves from being raped.
I would LOVE to watch he and Willie Roaf go at it for 4 quarters.
That's the only matchup that I can think of based on what I know in which Houston would not dominate.

I might wanna rethink that, because it's unfair.

There has never been a player that can really get the best of Roaf.

Von Miller was just a piece of a very large puzzle. He missed a Super Bowl run earlier in his career, in case you didn't know. He was just fortunate enough to play for a franchise that allowed him another opportunity at a later date.

If week 1 was any indication, this could be Houston's opportunity to shine.. but it is a long season.
