The theme for the 2014 CP "King of the n00bs" award is...

(UPDATE 02/10/15: The ****ening has begun.)

Deathmatch.

This time we're not awarding a winner based on post count or how well-liked they are. We're going to crown the king of the n00bs based on how strong and resilient they are. This time we are finally going to crown one TRUE champion.

Here's how it works: If you joined Chiefs Planet at all since September 2013, either post in this thread or PM me expressing your interest in this brawl.

From that point on, n00bs will neg rep each other as often as they wish. Once a n00b's rep bar goes into the red, they're out of the competition, even if somebody gives them positive rep and restores the green squares. I'll check up on the participants at least once per day to see how things are going. If I don't catch somebody going into the red before they turn back to green, and nobody tells me, that person will still survive. You can ensure your kills by screen capping and attaching the images in this thread. Last n00b left in the green is the winner and the 2014 CP King of the N00bs.

This might take 24 hours or 24 days. Nobody knows. If it starts to go too long, we'll call it off and have a forum vote. Say, after two months or so.

The fight officially begins at midnight on February 10th. After that point, no n00bs will be able to enter their name in the ring. Once again, you must post in this thread or PM me expressing your wish to participate in order to compete.

General rules and guidelines:

1. I'll update the OP as n00bs enter into the contest and get killed off. You can always check back here if you're unsure.

2. Spectators are free to give out reputation as they would normally. If a n00b makes an awesome post and you want to add rep, go right ahead. If some Alex Smith fan n00b posts something disgusting, go ahead and let that bitch know how you feel. I'm not going to encourage or discourage outside participation. Do what you want. However, don't complain if you get too caught up and the n00bs start fighting back. Your safety isn't guaranteed. Don't say I didn't warn you.

3. HOWEVER, once I mark a n00b as dead, the fight's over. That also goes for those n00bs who don't wish to participate. Please leave them out of this-- don't just go on a n00b hunt for any random person who joined in the past year.

4. N00bs are encouraged to make bribes and form alliances and factions. Also, keep the viewers at home updated to what's going on if it's interesting. If you received a funny negative rep comment, post it and I'll bless you with my staff of green squares.

5. I'm including EVERYBODY who joined CP from October 2013 - December 31, 2014. That means that mults like Hootie 2.0 and Sweet Daddy Williams are allowed to enter the fray. Bufkin is also eligible.

6. PLEASE, BE HONORABLE. Don't start neg repping each other until February 10th. I have no way of regulating this, so you're on the honor policy

THE FIGHTERS:

Bufkin
PizzaDoughz
mac459 (withdrawn)
Coochie liquor(KO'd)
temper11 (KO'd)

That's not just legendary for a noob. That would be legendary for CP in general.
So you give him first BEFORE he does what he says he's gonna do? Sounds like an asterisk in the making....

Also I'm gonna put a bottle of Florida made Vodka on the table to whoever negs Bufkin the most, whether I win or not.

I'm not giving him anything. I'm merely a supporter.

But his promising to call CSPAN if he wins is no different than anybody promising to donate to the board if their guy wins. Not sure why that would constitute an asterisk.

Are we to refrain from negging them until the 10th just in regards to trying to make them lose? Or are we to refrain from negging them for anything until the 10th? Because the temper dude is giving me an itchy trigger finger in Luv's advice thread.

All I'm saying is it's easy to donate to CP, but who says Bufkin actually gets in on the line to CSPAN. If he gets first then can't complete his task does he retain the title?? SNR, I think we need a ruling!

Didn't mean you were giving him anything. I was referring to getting the win before he actually makes good on his promise. Should be contingent.

El Capitian has ruled. No neg reps until the 10th.

I double backed and positive repped the neg reps I handed out earlier with a itchy neg rep trigger finger. So we are back to even steven.

In the history of the King of the N00bs history there is almost always a favorite to win the thing. Posters will come in on the underdog side to make it a fair and more entertaining contest.

You're talking to a guy who got on the air when Anthony Weiner was a guest. Granted, they cut me off before I could get to my weiner joke, but it's not hard at all. The only people who watch C-SPAN before 8AM are retired people and group homes.

Just a reminder, as fun as the bribes and alliances are, this is still ultimately a competition for n00b of the year. By fairly offering a quarter for each positive rep I receive after February 10th, I'm absolutely assuming that I'll be paying at least 50 dollars. If this competition goes on long term, maybe I'll be paying triple that. While I can't offer chiefs tickets like BigRedChief, I can offer quality posting and happy endings.

And to play hardball, if Coochie Liquor wins, I'm also donating an additional 25 dollars to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.

What's the point of having a fight like this if the contestants are already dead before the bell rings?
