I don't think Peyton has a realistic chance to go back to the SB at this stage in his career but I am surprised with all the Chiefs fans saying no to a guaranteed one and done playoff run.

see what you can get out of alex when you have a reliable Oline and better outside targets.. draft a late qb if you must. Be releastic. Might as well build up the roster and if alex doesn't stick he doesn't stick.. but the next dude will have a better chance of succeeding

Nothing is guaranteed. Peyton would likely come here and blow his Achilles in the first quarter of the first preseason game.

The struggles came damn near instantly beginning in the Rams game. Then they decide to completely change their offensive philosophy and run the ball 30-40 times a game? I think he was hurt. Not making excuses, but you don't just see a decline that instantly like flipping a switch. Regardless, 50% of Peyton Manning still gives you a better chance of winning in January than 100% of Alex Smith. |

so basically Denvers def who is arguably filled with more talent than KC's and CJ Anderson who may not be the hof worthy of charles but hes talented and a bank of WR consistenting of thomas, J Thomas, Welker, etc...
you think he would do better with KC? cmon lol |

I see. You're pulling an NBA, trade for a player just to cut them.
We can get the same results by trading/cutting Alex Smith before next year starts. His guaranteed money doesn't kick in until next year.

Peyton Manning is probably never going back to a Super Bowl. They didn't Belichick him today. They actually challenged him to throw it deep, and he couldn't do it. You'd probably have better odds of Alex Smith capturing the Colts game performance in a Flacco-like run. But yes I'd give Manning better odds than Smith of actually getting to the playoffs, yes.

And 50 percent of manning, what we saw today, isn't winning a playoff game without an elite defense and running game. So it's basically a push |

There's so much Denver hate clouding your vision here.
Y'all are basically saying that the Chiefs have a better chance of winning a SB with Alex Smith than Peyton Manning. Which is ****ing hilarious. |

Alex Smith is a playoff 'Balla'.
