Dorsey Says He Is Willing To Move Up (or down) In Draft

• Will you be aggressive with trades?

“My phone is always open … if you want, tell those guys if they wanna trade up or down, just come and give me a call. You have to do everything within your power. Just rest assured I will try to do everything I can to move up and move down. If I feel it’s time to pull the trigger and go up and get a player or pull the trigger and move down and get a player, I’ll use every resource available to me.”

Honestly don't see much of a gap between Evans or someone like Coleman, Abbrederis or Mathews who all should be available later. They need to stick to their guns and go with BPA in the first round. If they can trade some later picks or next year picks to get back into the 2nd that would be ideal.

Sanders had very little intention of coming here IMO.

Making players want to play in KC starts with the FO. Winning is the only way to fix that and we aren't there yet. I'm totally fine with letting a new GM prove himself with his own decisions.

Agreed. This team isnt supposed to win the division this year...but it would be a nice surprise if it happened

I know some here would like to believe that John just says the same canned answers as most GMs do, but this guy is different. He doesn't lie. He calls em how he sees em.

Go back and read comments he made about the players he let walk (mostly blah answers that were based on "he's a good football player") and then read his comments on Hussein Abdullah....he got into specifics and truly praised him. I called it right after that interview that the only guy that would return would be him...maybe Zombo.

There is not one doubt in my mind that he would love to move around in this draft...with a preference towards moving down and adding picks.

I'm a gifted poker player and pride myself on getting people to talk at the table because I can get loads of information by simply hearing a person speak and John Dorsey is a guy I'd love to play poker with.
Our best case scenario would be for a QB to slide to 23 and a team jump all over us. That is if the QB isn't worth taking.
