Dorsey isn't going to keep Hali at that price, not with Houston's deal looming next season and especially not if we have to tag Houston.

Haaaaaa.... fair enough. Glad I don't have to make the call on moving on from Tamba. Lots of season to go that may make such decisions easier anyway.

Why would cleveland trade him when they can probably only get a 2nd or 3rd for him? They benefit much more by keeping him.
And the last thing this offense needs is a shiny toy at the wide receiver position. There's 2 problems with it: 1. This offense has a potentially great thing going with these 2 and 3 tight end formations - that type of O doesn't really need nor utilize much in the way of elite receivers. 2. Alex Suck can't optimally use a receiver anyhow. He's not accurate down the field and prefers throwing to bigger tight ends over the middle. IMO the offense would be better off finding another good toy at the tight end position to pair with Kelce

Do any of you guys actually think Gordon is going to be able to keep himself clear of the substance abuse policy for any length of time? Something he has never been able to accomplish since college?
He is out of the league in less than 2 years. Don't waste the draft picks or the money. |

Somebody mentioned Blackmon. Did he get his suspension reduced like Gordon?

Hali might not demand a 15 mil per year cap hit.
Osi Umenyiora 2 years 8.5 mil deal. Demarcus Ware has a hit of 9.6 and 8.6 per year the first two years of his three year deal. Jared Allen is only 3 mil this year and a 12.5 hit next. If you split that evenly over two years it isn't that bad.

I cant yet buy into the idea of cutting Bowe, but he needs to really pick it up from here to the finish line, and even if he stays... he needs to be #2, period.
Gordon? I'm leaning towards Bufkins assessment of "ticking time bomb". |

Ware and Hali are in comparable parts of their careers, too. So yeah, maybe it's possible the Chiefs could work out a cheaper deal... |
