People are ****ing scared pussies who run from the slightest bit of anything scary or troublesome or dangerous.

They also follow stupid things blindly.

Ergo:

Not to mention you can seriously **** up your car just hitting a deer.

What about hitting a woman?

I was driving on 35 one night after midnight with a buddy following me and I hit something. It was dark out and I hadn't any idea what it was, but it wasn't a huge impact so I kept going. What was I supposed to do? Stop, reverse back a half a mile, and wander around on the highway looking for who knows what? The most likely thing is something that fell out of a truck or separated tread from a tire and those make loud noises if you hit them.

My friend told me when we got home that it was a trash can that was rolling around on the road that I had hit.

Without being too graphic, depending on the distance the body traveled after it went out the back door, it may not have been like hitting a deer. The body could have come apart on the pavement quickly.

It's a sad story, but the drivers could definitely have been oblivious and the woman would not be alive had the other two of the three stopped.

Once the driver figured out that his limo is on fire, he pulls over to the right, close to the bridge rail. That action severely limited any egress from the passenger area. Since the fire is in the back, the passengers would need to exit the vehicle by walking towards (if not into) the fire, then do a 180 to escape the flames. The only girls that got out, did so by climbing through the partition opening behind the driver.

the dude said the car in front of him must've hit her and he did too. but he is the only one who stopped. I got the impression he was pretty close to the car in front of him, so if that's the case, considering it's dark, and he DID stop....I believed him in that he didn't realize he'd hit a person. the other two that didn't stop....who knows....like the trash can story above....maybe they really didn't know. it'll be a hard sell if they end up in court......

Went over a waterfall in my kayak, lost the paddle and wound up upside down in the current. Got pulled out of the water with blue skin by my buddy Dave and CPRed back to life.

Drowning seemed pretty easy. One big gulp and it's over. Burning would be WAYYYYYYYY worse.

Luckily no worse for wear.

How does it compare to falling into a meat grinder? Do you want to try that one out tonight and get back to us? Could go for some Otter patties.

Only other thing I have to compare it to it being bludgeoned with 9 volt batteries in bras after a poorly placed roulette wager and biting off more than I could chew but I never lost consciousnesses.
