I would love this crow. What do you think we would receive in a trade like that? If we could snag a 3rd for that it would be awesome.

La'El Collins is the only OL I would pick in rd 1 at the Chiefs selection.
Passing up Collins for Dorsett (who may be there in the 2nd rd) would be criminally dumb.

I'll eat crow for a while if Dorsett doesn't go round 1, and I'm okay with that. I think I'm going to be correct though.

Meh whatever. I don't want a WR in the first. Especially one that by most "experts" is considered a 2cd or 3rd round talent just a few weeks ago, but is now all of the sudden a late first.
I do kind of like the idea of trading back to get an extra pick. It does seem very possible that we will be drafting in a position where the value we are looking for could be had later.

The experts are catching up with the actual teams boards. Guys don't rise or fall that much, the media just gets caught up with how teams view them.
So if they're putting dorsett in the first, it's likely the teams boards have had him therr for a bit |

Yes I do realize it happens every year. Every year a lot of those risers don't fair as well because they were over drafted because of the combine or a team need not talent.

Roundup, so you don't think teams already knew that Dorsett could run really fast before the Combine? Hell, I said back in January that I suspected he would go round 1 and part of that reason is that he runs really fast.

I've seen him mocked to the Chiefs at 18 in a couple of places. He's a guy that is interesting to me and I definitely wouldn't mind. My only concerns are his ability to beat press and seeing his 4.42 speed on tape consistently. Either way, he's a good player that could definitely go round 1. |
