I'm as hopeful as anyone that Mahomes will lead us to a SB, but it is WAY premature to say there is a VERY good chance. Some of you have been so in love with the idea of drafting a 1st round QB that you are jumping the gun.

It's a matter of elements, nothing more. Mahomes doesn't need an entire roster of uber talent, just a few key pieces.

You have no way of knowing that. He has never played a meaningful snap in the NFL going against a 1st string defense. He has a good chance, but at this point we don't know much so what you are stating as fact is just speculation and wishful thinking.

Well he's been TO a Super Bowl, something that Smith will never be able to claim, and he's won multiple playoff games.

Reid is most definitely a HOF coach. Alex Smith is lucky they ever crossed paths, because likely no other coach was going to make chicken salad out of his chicken shit talent.

See the first five weeks as proof. But coaching only takes you so far...
