Great job to Santos for picking up Smiths slack. He nailed his longest FG and was put into a tight spot because our QB is mediocre.

The Santos kick attempt would never have happened, had Alex not (a)evaded a sack moving left and then setting feet to fire a 22 yard pass to Bowe.. and then (b)hitting Kelce over the middle for 15 more yds.. and then (c)hitting Kelce outside for another 8 yards.

Smith haters gots to admit that he is playing well this year. Besides that first game, the whole team has played well.

Our WR's don't drop those balls or step out of bounds, we may have routed San Diego.

It was a masterful drive. One of the best I've seen in years. It's starting to look like we've got a top 5-7 QB in KC. A little more work, and he's right there with Manning and Brady.

At first, that drive looked like typical Chiefs - buried inside the 10, stupid penalties, and poor protection. I thought for sure they were going to have to punt from inside the 10 and the Chargers would get the ball back at mid-field and probably win.

After being bailed out by the "facemask" penalty, it was like someone flipped a switch and they started playing well. I was impressed.
