I didn't think Kpass stood out in the run game either. Every time i noticed Kpass it was as a pass rusher.

Kpass had one play, i think someone else had a penalty on the play, where he took the RT and pushed him 5-10 yards back and into the QB.

Maybe you're right. I haven't really paid attention to him in the run game all that much.

That being said, I think this belongs in here.

I sincerely wonder what it feels like to be a QB during a hit like that.

The only thing the RT did on that play was get his ass kicked.

Regardless;

I "think" the flag was thrown because he left his feet for the hit.

Still seems silly.

Thats no lie, Mr FAX... certain things just cant be coached, Dorsey sure loves him some freakish physical specimens

Kpass has clearly taken a step forward, he got that huge frame low to bend the edge on that sack... he keeps that up, and Ford will find himself on the bench by week 4

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

I haven't been all caught up in the ref hatred personally but DJ last year and KPass this weekend those are some egregious bullshit calls. I get so angry I get sick to my stomach when I watch those clean sacks getting flagged for just straight up fantasy reasons.

I actually envisioned Kpass as a Calais Campbell type that the Chiefs would develop at DE and not OLB. While he has a decent bend for his size, I still remain convinced it's not quite adequate. That said, his arm length certainly helps his cause in that regard because he's able to keep tackles away from his frame a little more. Overall though, I think he would have been a faster development by adding 10-15 pounds and keeping his hand in the dirt. He's at least shown flashes and has me convinced he can be better than ol' Frank.

It was beautiful for sure. Back in the day that is a legal hit and sack. Launching leaving your feet and landing with full body weight on Daniel is what got him flagged. I don't like the rule BUT I get it. If I saw PM2 get hit like that I would want the flag thrown.
