I wasn't sure who Christian Okoye was until you said he was the Nigerian Nightmare. Thanks for being thorough!

Well... tough to say who goes undrafted but here's a short list...
QB Mark Myers - John Carroll. I think he at least has a decent career as a backup. OT Kendall Lamm - Appalachian State. He's going to get a shot at right tackle at the very least. He moves fairly well and he's more of an attacker with a good punch. I think he'll at least make it as a starting NFL guard, I really do. DT Justin Hamilton - Louisiana-Lafayette. If nothing else he can be an effective reserve NT in either front as a two down run stuffer. He's got brute strength and is difficult to move off the ball even with a double-team. CB Tajh Hassan - UNLV. I think this kid has enough to stick on a roster and develop into a decent cover man. He's tough, he's got the ability for special teams. WR Tyrell Williams - Western Oregon. He's fast, he's big, he runs good routes, he has good hands, he blocks. Hell, he might get drafted. I think he's a player that would be a priority UDFA for me and one that could at least make it as a #4 receiving option. DE Alec May - Georgetown. I think there is more than a passing chance this kid gets drafted, but he's rated by indexes as an UDFA. I think he has the tools that you can work with. Develop this kid's strength and unleash him. I think he'll at least work out as a situational pass rusher and special teamer. DT Darius Philon - Arkansas. I think this guy has the ability to be drafted, but he's not being rated that way. If he is a UDFA, a 4-3 team would be wise to take this kid and coach him up as a gap penetrating undertackle and situational pass rusher. OC Alex Mateas - UConn. I think he can develop into a minimum of a reserve center in the NFL. He needs a bit of strength work and some coaching up. SS Harold Jones-Quartay. Small school, big time hitter. He could stick for teams that employ a more traditional SS as a backup. He plays the ball well too. ILB Kevin Snyder - Rutgers. Has the speed, size, and shedding ability to make it this league. I find it hard to believe he won't be drafted, but he's not rated that way on indexes. Minimum backup material and has shown me he has enough that he could end up a starter. ILB Andrew Bose - Rhode Island. Has the look of a strong side outside linebacker in a 4-3 defense, but might be able to hold up in a 3-4 on the inside. I don't know if he has enough meat on his bones though. FS Cedric Thompson - Minnesota. After his pro day, this kid might just get drafted. I like him and think he'll be quality on special teams, and a good backup initially. I'll give some more later. |
