It's getting closer so I figure we could move some draft talk to the Lounge.

Charles Robinson usually has some good tidbits on stuff so heres a thread on some stuff he's hearing.

1. Evaluators are anxious to see #Alabama safety Deionte Thompson at today's pro day. There were concerns about his weight coming out of the combine (195 vs. 180ish in season). His speed/weight has left his overall report up in limbo for some teams.

No it's not just 3 plays. He looked like shit most the game biting on PA half the time. I'm just pointing out the ones I noticed most.

Rapp is kind of a bigger Honey Badger, in that he can do anything; he'd be an interesting choice, but I like Adderley and Adam a lot too.

I'm really liking Omenihu and either Ya-Sin or Oruwariye in the first two rounds along with whichever safety you like.

I think the MLB studs will be gone, but you could do a lot to restock your defense in those first 3 picks.

Agreed on a TE and OL rounds 3 and on.

I hope our GM doesnt feel the need to package our 1st rounder with one of our 2nd rounders to move up in this draft. I just dont see anybody that incredible I would like to move up for, plus if we keep our first 4 picks, I feel we can draft some really quality players!

I think Adderly will be a round 2 pick. He's gonna be the guy everyone will want the Chiefs to trade up for in the 2nd but won't.

Revised 40 for Adderley, per #Delaware was 4.68 seconds. Not sure I understand the 4.51.

CGJ would also be another intriguing option to pair with Honey Badger. You could really interchange those two and move them all around

Pulled hamstring ends Nasir Adderley’s Pro Day early

There were representatives from many teams at the University of Delaware’s Pro Day on Friday and safety Nasir Adderley was one of the big reasons why they were on hand.

Adderley is considered one of the top prospects at the position this season and his name appears in the first round of many mock drafts. His attempt to solidify a spot at the top of draft boards hit a snag during his workout, however.

According to multiple reports, Adderley had to cut his workout short because he pulled his hamstring while running a 40-yard dash. The school said he posted a time of 4.54 seconds in the run.

Adderley, who was a four-year starter at Delaware, was also limited at the Scouting Combine because he was recovering from an ankle sprain.

honestly, unless there's ONE guy they really want, I wouldn't be opposed to moving back into the second, especially if you could pick up a 3rd.

I think most of the 2nd tier DE's, S's, and CB's will all be there and there are 3rd round TE's and OL's that would all be good players.
