A work buddy broke the news to me that Kaep had a workout scheduled with Seattle, but it fell through when he said the kneeling would continue

Figured if anyone would take him, it would be them... one of the most liberal cities in the nation

Not only that, but his style would seem to be a good fit to back up Wilson

It would be nice to get one of those top safeties and another CB so we would have more options in the draft.

There are conflicting reports there. Schefter vs. Rapoport.

I believe it though.

I will say I feel good about this defense. Veach needs to draft a top CB and a top DL with a safety and if two of these three perform decently, I do think the Chiefs defense can be a top 10 unit.

Amerson, Ford, Kpassagnon, Williams are all kinda unknown but they all look like they can potentially give this team solid play. Not all of them will but I feel confident at least two of them will.
I think we know what we have in Ford and it ain't much. He had a few games that he collected sacks at a nice pace, but has never been much against the run- plus he is hurt all the time with a gimpy back.

Maybe they had their fill last year with Michael Bennett.

I believe it as well, even the most liberal owners are probably tired of the drama and heat it brings down

And yeah pat, if anyone could sour a team on that kind of activism ... it'd be lying ass Michael Bennett

Would be great to get at least one, we're looking thin at DB IMO. Maybe Vaccaro + a 2nd round CB??? Moving Fuller to the outside might not work out as well as when he played slot in a familiar system, by all accounts Amerson was mediocre in Oakland, not sure what we have planned there...?

It also doesn't help that Kaep's GF is a member of a terrorist org...

Yep....totally should have traded for this guy.

According to Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Eagles are expected to release CB Daryl Worley.
Worley was tasered and later arrested after becoming "combative" with Philadelphia police early Sunday morning. Authorities were called to the scene after the cornerback was found passed out inside a vehicle blocking the highway. This isn't Worley's first run-in with the law following an arrest for misdemeanor assault in college. Per Bowen, it is "likely, though not certain" that Worley will be cut as a result of Sunday's incident and that his fate is being discussed among "various parties." The Eagles also released a statement: "We are in the process of gathering more information about Daryl Worley's arrest this morning." The 23-year-old was acquired from Carolina in a trade last month.

To be fair, that was just RunKC saying that though.

Former #AZCardinals RB Kerwynn Williams is signing a 1-year deal with the #Chiefs, source said. He had multiple options, but liked the fresh start KC represented.

I think that is Veach’s strategy.

He will see how the draft falls, if a safety he likes falls to them then he will draft him & won’t sign a safety. If one doesn’t fall to him, then he will sign a FA safety. That’s the reason for the delay.
