Jets used a fourth on a gadget player; we used a second in 2010.
Not sure why any Chiefs fan would laugh about far lesser stupidity. |

Sanchez is already on thin ice with the fan base, players on the Jets have already said they don't want Tebow. You can't see the match being lit on the dynamite? Mcluster is a bad pick at the worst, he isn't causing any "issues" with the team nor will he ever. |

What I see is a gadget. Nothing more, nothing less. I don't see Tebow as significant to be any kindling for a fire. |

You could be right, and that's going to be solely on the leadership (or lack thereof) within the organization.

Also stating you don't trade a 4th and a 6th unless he is going to be the back up QB. Not really the same as drafting McCluster in the 2nd round. |

They've given up slightly more and acquired, basically, the same player. When Smith was drafted, no one in his right mind thought he was going to be the QB. Same thing should apply in NY this time around; the organization traded for a wildcat option. Tebow is not and will never be a QB, so the trade isn't a disaster at all, with proper leadership from the team. Rarely are gadgets selected at #36 overall, and I don't know anyone who would claim that McBust doesn't fill that role. |

They're both gadget players, right? And I really don't hate this acquisition for the Jets in terms of personnel.
They've essentially acquired a stronger, slightly less athletic and fluid version of Brad Smith, who did very well in that offense, and it's a component that the team seemed to miss last year. |
