For all who think Belichick should be fired...

Seriously, come on.

He won't get 'fired'.

This is somewhat akin to when Ted DiBiase paid off the referee to give Andre the Giant the title win, then DiBiase 'purchased' the title from Andre. WWF President Jack Tunney 'stripped' DiBiase of the title, blah blah blah.

It's entertainment. The NFL is 'sports entertainment', protected by the same antitrust as the WWE.

So, while the Patriots are probably the biggest offenders, they're hardly the only ones who have done what they've been accused of...just like the Saints were definitely not the only team to have bounties. Goodell had to bust them for SOMETHING after all that Vicodin came up missing...

Anyway, this was the 'offseason storyline'. Goodell knew about Spygate this WHOLE TIME. He knew they were "cheating" the WHOLE TIME. 'Deflategate' was a cream puff case, designed to keep the NFL (and a couple of their biggest stars) on the national stage throughout the offseason.

Anyone who thinks Belichick will (or should) be fired hasn't been paying attention to the same league I've been watching all my life...

If the NFL didn't do it so Lamar could see it before he died, it will be a long time

If there is a "story line", the Chiefs and Pack will be in this season's SB.

That's too easy.

It would be nice though...

Dan Marino 'fell' to Don Shula at #27...the draft following a Dolphins SB performace.

The Colts somehow wound up with Luck after Manning.

Belicheat can get a bonus round.

Bountygate was about missing/unaccounted for prescription painkillers at the Saints facility.

Had nothing to do with 'bounties' (something EVERY NFL team engaged in)

Agreed.

It will be a LONG TIME before the Chiefs are allowed to even win a playoff game.

I hope I'm wrong...but the last 20 years have jaded me.

Wow, he's sure "owned" turds like Marty Schottenheimer, Norv Turner, and Mike McCoy! So have half the other coaches in the league. Not exactly a high bar to clear.

He should be banned because he's been systematically cheating for most of his fraud of a career. It has nothing to do with team loyalty (the Chargers' mediocrity isn't because of any other franchise, it's because of our horrible ownership situation), it's all about the integrity of the game.

You should start a new thread for all of your opinions because the existing threads on this topic don't get you enough attention.

An unsurprisingly stupid post from you.

The "Its all rigged" morons should really take a look at this though. Look at all the lengths the Pats went to to try to get a little edge, and see all the stories of other teams doing things to get signals and such. Why?
Why bother if it is all rigged? Why even have signals if the winners are pre-determined, let alone try to steal them? Why were Peyton Manning and others worried about a bugged locker room if the outcome is set?

This dipshit might have me on ignore because he's tired of me beating his ass, so maybe someone can pass it on to him.
