I just don't see how it would be a "bad idea" to take him at 1 if he's worth some other top-10 pick. He's a strong prospect at what is by far our team's largest position of need. Had we won one or two more games by sheer luck, our team would have the exact same needs as it does now, and all of a sudden he would be a good pick?
