Marlins sue fans
Loria is scum of the highest order. Not sure how he was able to con MLB after the disaster that the Expos were. To sue fans after you pulled out of what you promised is horrible. If MLB had balls they would sanction him.

They sued other fans and the county property assessor thinks the property is worth more than 7 times what Sack owes.

$16,200 per ticket
Do those tickets come with complementary coffee served by a Swiss waitress? |

Loria is a POS obviously, and I'm not sure why he would be behind or even care about this since he's about to sell the team -
But if you're an executive working for any business and someone is in breach of contract and owes you $97,200, you're going to put your legal people on them. Since they already won a judgement against this guy in a lower court, I'm guessing there's no "contract void if you don't like the buffet options" clause. |

Sooo the guy had a contract to buy x amount worth of tickets and didn't pay up. The Marlin's absolutely are not in the wrong here. Pay your ****ing bills. Don't go into contracts you don't like.

He seemed to be trying to wiggle out of the contract by claiming that the Marlins changing the associated benefits violated the contract. I'm guessing the lower court would have, you know, looked at the contract and determined if that was true or not.

I am not a lawyer, but the guy signed a contract right?
Assuming that's the case...how are the Marlins the bad guy? |
