Where are the best seats in Arrowhead?

I know this is going to be very subjective so I will try to narrow it down quite a bit to start:

I am going to be traveling to my first Chiefs game at Arrowhead after 43 years as a fan. I'm thinking the home opener against the Cowboys or the Giants

I want to sit in the best seats available without my view being blocked by the players on the bench, too low to be able to see across the field, and not stuck behind any columns. I also don't want to sit in the end zone or nose bleed seats.

I only need a single ticket and right now there are several single tickets in Section 103 as low as row 7 and row 9 for $185.

All seats in Sections 116-122 are gone and I don't want to spend $300 for resale tickets at Stub Hub.

How low is good without your view being blocked?

Will I be sitting with all the Dallas or opponents fans sitting in this area?

I would love to party with a large group of CP'ers in the parking lot and I'll bring some booze!

Any advice greatly appreciated

Last year the best seats were next to the urinals.

Uh -oh...Section 126

I've been reading this thread, and now I'm bothered by this. I bought end zone sears (section 126, row 14), for $20. They ended up being around 32 by the time service charges took effect.

I'm taking my mom, and thought the seats were a good price. This is my first official game in Arrowhead, as I saw them when Arrowhead was first built.

I never miss a game, and I'm rather loud watching them on TV.My mother is 81, and I wanted her to have a good time....end zone corner seats...hmm...

Should I upgrade them? Or just go and have a good time?

I have had seats all over the lower levels, but I got a chance to snag some 50 yard line seats in the yellow rows last year for the Carolina game. I liked those better.

It might be a little rowdy for an 81 year old lady... Endzone lower level gets crazy...

that's good seats for mom -- close to the entry/exit & pkg lot

I wouldn't be real concerned with folks getting too rowdy, you'll be on your feet more often than not and folks barely have room to clap -- it's like sardines nowadays.

I like the end zone seats, if I can't get close to the 50ydl then I will hit the the end zone.

Arrowhead doesn't really have a whole lot of really bad seats, unless you're just very picky. I guess the very top of the upper deck could be bad if you don't like heights or have poor vision. If it's your first game, don't stress on it. Just get in the building, you'll have fun regardless.

Pretty much this.

I'd say the best seat in the stadium is the one I'm sitting in (or standing in front of....SUCK IT lower level complainers!).

Best seats are upper deck if you actually like to watch the games and see play development, etc. Club level are the best in the house, but they're pricey.

That's kind of the point I was trying to make. In the endzones, people are usually standing the entire time with very little wiggle room. Many 81 year olds wouldn't consider that a good time.

Very top rows of the first level are best for the ol timers, at least in my experience. They don't have to climb stairs and they're not packed in the middle of the mob.

This. Club level. Especially with older person in group.

Bathrooms are less packed, easier time at concession, good crowd into game, but more up and down than stand full game.

Good overhead protection in case of bad weather. Went to Saints game in December few years back. Pouring rain & freezing cold. Dry as a bone as upper level runoff landed 2 rows in front of us.

Not the place if you want the full-on Arrowhead experience.

My uncle got is seats in the Chevy box once. While the seats and amenities were nice, sitting with a bunch of stodgy old farts and corporate asskissers who were mainly there to be seen and schmooze (and didn't pay a bit of attention to the game) wasn't.

ya, but he's already purchased.

I don't think it's going to be a deal because there are attendants all over the stadium nowadays telling fans how to behave yada yada.

if 81yo mom wants to attend a football game, I expect she knows how to handle herself.

Hopefully we can reclaim that soon. I blame the removal of Astroturf.
