It has nothing to do with JAX wanting a qb. It's an attempt to make qb hungry teams believe that OAK wants one and that to get Geno any other team that wants him would have to trade to the 2 spot to get him.

Well in that case, I hope it works. But if for some reason the Chiefs did pass on Geno, I can't imagine Jacksonville doing it also. Unless we got a first for next year. And I don't see many teams doing that for Geno.

Nassib is a reach with the 33rd pick in my opinion. The kid looks lost when he is pressured and has some serious accuracy issues. We already have a QB who is very young and still needs to develop. The only QB I could see us taking really, would be Dysert in like the third.

He might even make it into the first when everything is said and done. And I think Chad Henne is a myth. They need another QB and will most likely look to the position earlier rather than later. I wouldn't be surprised if a guy like EJ Manuel is considered for their second rounder either. Nassib or Manuel, if still on the board, will get a serious look if they get their pass rusher (which the Jags desperately need) in the first. Though they might go best OLB as well at the top. Someone like K State's Arthur Brown would help them immensely. Werner and Brown, then Manuel at the top of the third would be a nice scenario for the Jags. |

This whole thread is shenanigans. If the Chiefs don't draft Geno, Jaguars will. Geno will not be a Raider

I'm on the Geno or Bust bandwagon right now. This team has been plagued by terrible QB play with the exception of a few years of Montana and Green. Anybody who says QB isn't out biggest team need by a wide margin doesn't understand the game, or doesn't actually watch Chiefs football. We just witnessed the worst season in franchise history and the fans need to be shown that the franchise wants to get better NOW, even if Geno has questionable traits we don't know about. If Dorsey drafts Geno and flops, then I'm OK with it, because I know they made an attempt to improve the most glaring need on this franchise. This team has to try and try again till they get it right. Once a franchise QB is in place, then build the offense around his strengths. From that point, Dorsey can stay loyal to his draft board and take BPA in every round.

Come on man, Aaron Rodgers went 24th overall.
Why in the world would you give up all that VALUE by drafting him #1? |
