Schaub is horrible, when it comes to nationally staged big games, he crumbles and chokes, he can't elevate his team and take them to a next level. Besides Andre Johnson and Owen Daniels, who do they really have to throw too?

Bowe is going to end up on Dallas though, KC has become a farm team for the cowboys. Clark loves Dallas more then KC and bows down to them, I'm still pissed at Carr going there. Mark my words, if we don't resign him, he's gone to Dallas. I'm pretty sure Miles Austin becomes a free agent and I've read reports that have said they'll either go after Bowe or Jennings.

I don't know that Dallas has the cap space.

Farm team? Carr signing there makes them the Chief's farm team?

I guess Carr and Orton??

Idk, makes sense that Bowe would go to Dallas, or New Orleans. I could see either.

Hard to envision a scenario that keeps him in KC.

I'll bet he's already packing his bags for Louisiana, put his house on the market, etc.

Orton? He was with the Chiefs for all of 5 weeks.

The scenario is that a competent GM will see the need to sign Bowe to a longterm deal.

Or they can just tag him again.

Then just let him walk next offseason?

If he is unwilling to sign a longterm deal this offseason you better tag and trade him this year.

Yeah...and if they tag him again he'll just hold out again, and be disgruntled again.

The whole thing seems pretty futile at this point.

Bowe has had so many veriables to help him since his time here.

1) Long list of franchise quality quarterbacks
2) Stable of pro-bowl level receivers to take the heat off of him.
3) Some highly creative offensive play calling
4) Vince Lombardi level coaching

Bottom line is he is on a realy bad team and is stil getting it done.

Agree on all counts.

And I would argue he wasn't JUST "getting it done".

He led the league in TDs 2 years ago, with MATT ****ING CASSEL AT QB.

Bowe out for the season and the Chiefs refuse to activate Breaston. These assclowns give me a headache.

Dallas will do whatever it takes to get the right cap room to sign a big name WR especially dwayne bowe.

Breaston is nothing special, he's serviceable but activating him isn't going to make much of a difference.
