If the Eagles really want attention, they need to also sign Brett Favre.

This completely. Either Belicheck will look like a moron or its total bust.

I agree that the owner doubled down on the big gamble of hiring a College Coach when he gave Chip personnel control.

I disagree that Philadelphia was ever a proud franchise. Proud of 2 SB losses in how many years?

I don't think so.

Pryor is a talented football player that does have a good arm. At one point, he was the #1 prep player in the country and led what should have/could have been the #1 college team if it wasn't for the NCAA sanctions brought about by Tressel's errors.

Pryor is legit but needs a little direction and reps within a system he can flourish in. He flashed during his year in Oakland with a bad team and coaching staff.

With regard to Tebow and Kelly, who knows? Tim is a mercurial guy and a good football player and excellent locker room presence. Is he an NFL QB? Eh...he's got more playoff wins as a starting NFL QB than all of the Chiefs QB's do combined over the past twenty years, so there is that.

It's all about being in the right place at the right time. In the right system, a lot of guys who are considered "run of the mill" could be higher level players.

Enh, nothing to get too worked up about quite honestly... not sure why all the rage, other than the media coverage it gets. Maybe that's it. They have a nice 3-headed monster at RB, decent TEs and nothing really left at WR --- why not give the 50 run/10 pass game plan another shot. Maybe they bring the wishbone back ... :-) Again, not sure why so many get bent out of shape on it when there are guys playing in the NFL that have so many other issues.

If you're a PHI fan, sure maybe this is the straw that breaks the back... but, other than that - no big deal.

Who's he got to beat out? Matt Barkley? He's got a decent shot. I still don't think he'll make the team.

I think Chip Kelly likes the idea of having a gadget player like Tebow to throw in for a couple of series a game.

Tebow doesn't get enough credit for his short area quickness for the size and power that he has. At 6'3, 240 lbs, the guy has a 6.66 3 cone and a 4.12 short shuttle and a 38" vert. And he's a power runner. There are a lot of running backs that can't do that at 20 lbs lighter. It would be entertaining to watch him run his college offense in the pros. It would make the preseason more entertaining.

The Red Zone highlights will be fun to watch if they actually keep him and use him.
