How many teams stuck to their boards to get value, only to have their guy taken before they could get a chance?
Oh wait we don't know those success stories cause the teams ended up sucking shit. |

Oh yes "value" I wish they gave trophies at the end of the season for the awesomeness of getting "value" in the draft. Funny thing is Todd Haley wanted to take Kaep with our 1st that year. If ***** wasn't such a pos Harbaugh's master plan would've gone to the shitter

You take calculated risks in the draft room. They were hoping they'd fall to their spot in round 2 and when they realized that may not happen they traded up to get him. |

Look, I get it... the simple fact is it is a bad year to need a QB and have the number one pick. Maybe this is all smoke and mirrors and Andy has a boner for a QB, but this fan base might want to start preparing for them to draft their board - which will mean a day 2 QB.

So has the niners fan realized we have a LT that gave up 1 sack last year? With Matt Cassel? LOL

In 2010 the 49ers wanted Nate Allen as a FS. He was selected by the Eagles a few picks before. The 49ers ended up taking Taylor Mays instead. Ouch. Allen hasn't been great, but Mays isn't even on the team. You win some, you lose some. The peeps who stay static don't usually build a winner. |

If it was "their guy" they'd be higher on their board, no? You can't blame bad drafting on other teams.
