A few of my thoughts.

I'll say we get Byron Murphy first pick and then possibly manage to get Justice Hill later than expected due to last year's injury.

Players I wouldn't mind:

-- Ed Oliver (duh)
-- Nasir Adderley (again, 'duh')
-- M. Brown
-- AJ Brown
-- Hakeem Butler
-- Rock Ya Sin
-- Fant (doubt it)
-- Hockenson (don't see Brett drafting 1st round)
-- Deebo Samuel (not at 29 but should fall) (BIG FAN here!) value pick?
-- Justice Hill (absolutely should fall) (BIG FAN here!) value pick?

Using NFLN Gil Brandt's top 100 board as a guide, the players available I would take with the Chiefs top 4 picks would be;

Rd 1, pick #29 Byron Murphy, CB, Brandt's rank #30
Rd 2, pick #61 Chase Winovich, Edge Rusher/SLB, Brandt's rank #65
Rd 2, pick #63 Chauncy Gardner-Johnson, FS, Brandt's rank #93
Rd 3, pick #92 Dawson Knox, TE, Brandt's rank #97

Those four would contribute a lot as rookies, imo.

I hadn’t watched him until now. Some early takeaways:

- Doesn’t throw well outside of the pocket on the run
- Has some moments with good touch in intermediate zones
- Makes some really questionable decisions when pressure gets in his face

I want Murphy to fall to us.

If that doesn't happen, I want Baker to fall in our laps.

If that doesn't happen, I want Ferell to free fall into our range.

I also want Santa Claus to be real; So I'm aiming for rainbows and hitting droplets...

We have the best player in the world.

I'm going to enjoy the draft with that feeling of confidence that I haven't experienced in many years knowing I still have the joker card because I have the best quarterback on the planet.

That in and of itself is not a bad thing, it's the concept that the Chiefs are somehow supposed to take a fatty in the first round for the last 30 years.

he looks like ben rothlesberger running from the police, only due to not being able to throw the evidence away, he isn't quick enough to not be implicated.

he just looks awkward
