DayZ
With the DayZ standalone playable alpha release looming, I thought I would check out the mod version of the game. http://dayzdev.tumblr.com/

If you dont know, DayZ is an open world survival zombie game modification based off of the military sim ArmA 2 games. www.dayzmod.com

Basically its hardcore mode survival against zombies and even more dangerous, other players.

I have been watching vids for months and took advantage of a steam sale today to pick up ArmA 2.

Anyone playing DayZ right now? Servers? Thoughts? I have a teamspeak we can use!

If you guys go experimental... I'll likely bow out. My little brother just bought the game and I'm gonna take some time and show him how it all works.

If you guys jump back on to the regular servers, and don't mind my adding my brother to TS, we should be good after about an hour or so. We will be on around 10pm CST.

I just adventured for about an hour, cleaned up some little small town. i got all kinds of crap, but no bullets for the weapons i have . so much drink and food though.

i got ammo, but not for my M4. I also picked up and am running with an SKS if anyone could use it, i dont know how good it is. I started to run back to berenzino or whatever its called. Shit takes a while.
