Get the **** out.

It's not even that Tyrod Taylor is particularly good. He's a fair to middlin' QB with some downfield ability and plus mobility.

Alex Smith is just garbage at this point, ready to be thrown out.

There's no winning on this board. If I outline my arguments in detail, I'm too pedantic. If I adopt a conversational style, I get dinged for 'details' that are tongue in cheek. If I overexplain, I'm being condescending. If I assume others know the details, I'm accused of being ignorant. No one ever actually rebuts my point, they just bitch about my style.
Actually I was just ****ing with you. I had read the whole thing. I agreed with a lot of it.

Smith isn't worse than Taylor. I'm no big Smith supporter, but to call him garbage is home team reverse homerism. Common around here. Partly true, and partly full of s***.

Dude, he's ready for the ****ing garbage heap. After a small dropoff last year, he's about to fall off a cliff. Did you even watch the games last year?

Any 27-year old solid starter > him.

its more like pissed off. People dont jack off to it. not even close. They all realize that he's just wasting the talents of some pretty damned good teams.

Its so upsetting know that we virtually stand no chance at winning a superbowl no matter how well this team does during the regular season. Its all false hope. So yeah, when is ee shit like this, it just pisses me off, because i know we stand no chance.

He is garbage, he cant do anything but run, but after he got his head knocked off last year, he doesnt even like to run anymore.

Its like what does he do good as a QB that will win you games? here is the 1 quality he has. He will not turn the ball over much. Thats it.

Lol @ no chance. Do people even watch the playoffs? Other than Tom Brady, most of the super bowl winners have been below average to average in their playoff runs.

Joe Flacco threw for 300 yards a game with 11 TD and 0 INT during his SB run.

Eli Manning threw for 300 yards a game with 9 TD and 1 INT during his second SB run.

Aaron Rodgers threw for almost 300 yards a game with 9 TD and 2 INT during his SB run.

Drew Brees threw for 250 yards a game with 8 TD and 0 INT during his SB run.

Now mix in Brady's two runs and that's 6 of the last 8 Super Bowl runs that have featured elite quarterbacking.

And Russell Wilson had 26 TD passes and was 5th in the league in YPA during the Seahawks regular season. In two of their playoff games he averaged TWELVE yards per attempt.

You're straight up talking out your ass.

P. Manning, Wilson, both Roethlisberger runs, Eli's first run. Since 2000, other than Brady, there's only been a few elite performances by Superbowl winning QBs.

All the stats you posted look kind of like Alex Smiths playoff averages. 250 yards passing and 2 TDs a game. Is that elite?

Dude, that's 4,000 yards a year and 32 TD.

That's not Alex Smith. Duh?

Six of the last eight. It's an anti-Alex league.

It's like seeing Harambe drag that kid around and label the kid elite because Harambe 'only' broke his neck and killed hm.

I don't mind impatience at Alex's conservatism, or a drive to move on. But to pretend we're a juggernaut hampered solely by a singularly bad QB is reeruned.

Want to impress me, get off the QB obsession and figure out why the ENTIRE TEAM failed to show up last January in Arrowhead. Figure out why the Patriots can play like the Chiefs for 3 Quarters in the SB, then flip the switch IN ALL PHASES, getting stops, TOs and clutch catches to go with their clutch QB.
BUT they stopped them from scoring a touchdown, thats all that ****ing matters. ANY DC in the league would settle for that in a play off game, regular season game. Just keep them out of the endzone, thats the ****ing goal.

Chiefs did that. Did they gave up alot of yards? sure, but holding your opening to under 20 points at home is ****ing fantastic, yet the Chiefs couldnt even score 20. Thats all on the offense and the leader of that offense is that number 11. He didnt do his job. As much as you dont like to hear it, the Defense did their job.

if they got the job done and scored when it matters, damn right its elite. THe point is the QB has do what he has to do to win.
