penbrook, are you a Yankees fan? I remember that one of the members at CP roots for the team.

Yeah, we still keep in touch pretty regularly via text/phone calls. I actually gave him his first baseball glove. An old catcher's mitt of mine when he was about 5 years old. Pretty proud of that dude. He can hit the shit out of a baseball.

That's really cool. I think it's neat when anybody has someone they even kind of know have a pro shot, let alone a family member. My best friend growing up had a kid brother that went on to be a top 5 pick(at the time and maybe still the highest pick out of the state of Hawaii ever). Unfortunately he blew out his arm after a few appearances but I got to see him pitch on TV one day against Mike Piazza. It was such a trip watching this kid I used to give noogies to pitch in the Show against a future HOF. Was bummed he got hurt but that $5 million signing bonus though!

That's really cool. Michael is one of my favorite prospects (and when we were talking about potential Royals trades to the Sox, was the centerpiece of deals that I thought were possible).

With Devers looking like a future star at 3B, he may end up playing a different position (how's he like 1B) or with another team, but his future looks really bright.

Two reviews. Same "play".

Appealed to second. Inning over.

Hahaha, after hitting into the double play, Yankees player was walking into the dugout with camera on him and yelled 'F--K!' while Joe Buck was Joe Bucking.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I would rather listen to Joe Buck than John Sterling. "Here comes the judge!" "All rise for the judge!" ****ing lame and annoying.

Seems like none of these teams hustle like our Royals. That's the 2nd play in the outfield where the player just watched it bounce. I've seen high schoolers with more hustle than that.
