Yup. I'm betting the NFL is also going to compensate all the hotels, restaurants, bars, and shops that now have one less week of home game football in Kansas City.

To clarify, IF you are awarded a SB, THEN you are required to play a London game within 5 years.

Yeah, there must be some really ugly switch that flips in ultra-wealthy peoples heads... I need more, More, MORE.

Its a disease as far as I'm concerned... they acquire this massive fortune, then die and leave it all to a bunch of already spoiled pricks who just take the disease to the next level with each generation.

No, its not class envy or a "bring down the man" thing, I don't need their money and am happy to earn my own money, it gives me a strong sense of self worth to do so... its just more of an individual condemnation of those ultra greedy that have all they ever wanted and then some, but even that's just not enough.

I'm telling you, it sounds like a disease.

I still believe that in terms of integrity of the game, a game in London is the worst piece of shit stupid ****ing idea ever.
None of these things has hurt business.
The veteran combine? Why would that bother anyone?

Just for the record - if KC never hosts a SUper Bowl (and I don't think we will), it won't be because there aren't enough high quality hotels around town to support the wine and cheese crowd. It will be because there is dick shit to do in KC at the end of January/beginning of February besides get drunk in P&L/Westport/Plaza area. I fully expect Chicago to host a Super Bowl before us, and its cold as shit there the first of February.

The fact that the only thing near Arrowhead is a Denny's probably doesn't help our cause.

I've heard this conversation a bunch of times on ESPN radio.

KC lacks hotel rooms (which I am surprised) and really lacks taxi service.

Haha, no shit (and I still am mystified why the city doesn't try harder to build that area up as an entertainment hub. So much money could be made out there).

Well, the Adam's Mark had a bar in the basement that was supposedly a swinger's club back in the day. Maybe they can lure some high rollers in for the Super Bowl if that's still a thing in the new place? Just send the kids to CoCo Key while mommy and daddy go bang strangers!

Wasn't there a fairly recent bid for the SB or maybe a FF that included hotels in Topeka?
