To this day, my mother's pasta, with HER sauce (yeah she learned how to make it when we lived in Rome!) and meat-loaf will often be what I want. I think Flank steak is hands-down the best cut of meat on a cow, and pulled pork - while always full of flavors NOT the pork - are better than most $70 entrées.

The other truth, really expensive cuts of beef.....only need heat to be as good as they're going to get. They are good (love them!!), but it's an easy cook...

Oh, and add bacon to anything and it's better!

Oh, I'm not hiding lol. I'll stand on the mountain and scream it. Also I prefer pork steaks over beef but that's just me.
