Sometimes retirement gives a guy to much time to think.

I don't hate it completely, assuming he can play and we keep him in total isolation, Reid is the kind of coach that can take on troubled players. He would have no contact with our other young players and zero media attention if it were up to me.
On the other hand however, RG3 is more proven and has less baggage, and I don't see anyone thinking he's a good fit. We don't need any flash in the pan as our backup QB. |

I remember him running for about 6000 yards against us one game a couple years ago. I was driving back to Colorado from visiting family in Missouri and it was so frustrating to listen to on the radio. I couldn't believe nobody on our defense could stop that moron.

Unless he's matured and actually wants to realize his true potential, then no. Dude needed to grow up. I hope he did.

For Mahomes' backup, AR needs someone who knows his offense and has NFL game experience like Chase Daniel. If Manziel and Bray are competing for 3rd QB, I don't think the media would make much of a deal about it. I doubt Manziel would consider competing for Chiefs 3rd QB. I think he's still an arrogant a**hole.

If Mahomes was a vet then I'd be ok with it but he's a young impressionable QB and the last person I'd want him to befriend is Manziel. I don't want him on the team. He needs a veteran back up and draft a project 3rd QB.
