I was supposed to be on the 1845 hrs flight to Chicago. Since I was there early they said I could get on the 1645 hr flight. My next flight didn't leave Chicago til 2210 hrs to go to St. Louis. They put my phone on the 1845 hr flight that was supposed to land in Chicago at 2115 hrs. So, I could get my phone then and fly to St. Louis. At 2150 hrs they told me I couldn't wait any longer for that plane to arrive I had to get on my 2210 hr flight to St. Louis. When that flight finally landed in Chicago they took the phone to lost and found. My wife called lost and found and had them mail it to me. That plane landed ended up landing in Chicago at 2156 hrs. My plane left at 2210 hrs. Gates were 30 seconds apart in Chicago.

This. Domestic airlines suck. All of them.
Last week I was flying home from Korea on Korean Air, with a layover in Tokyo. A two hour flight from Incheon to Narita - HOT food. The ten hour flight from Honolulu to Incheon when I went there - TWO hot meals. This is standard. Last year I flew American from Honolulu to Chicago - NO FOOD, not even a little package of crackers or anything on an 8 hour flight. And Korean still gives you honey roasted peanuts.... If you've ever flown on any of the Asian airlines - Korean Air, Japan Air, Asiana, etc., you will forever hate flying on US airlines. They are like flying used to be here, with great service, and polite and friendly flight attendants. |

But I know what you're saying, Asian airlines are pretty good in general! |

I've never flown on Singapore, but I've heard it is really good. Their flight attendants stay in the same hotel I always stay at in Seoul (Hilton), and they are mostly young hot women (just like Korean and Japan Airlines). It is like US airlines were 40 years ago. |
