Everything I've seen says it's still a go for Wii U. Also there is a big story brewing that the switch does not support voice/party chat, but is actually handled through a phone app. Absolutely ridiculous in 2017.

I haven't played much Zelda in....hell, a long time; but after watching the trailer for the new one coming out in March, methinks I might spend a little bit of extra pay I'll be getting here shortly on a Switch and Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

There is a game where you milk cows using the pad things..Oh Nintendo. Mario and Zelda and what else ? I'd wait till Mario releases to see if any developers make games by fall.
This has to be Nintendo's last run at a console, if this fails let your games get on the other consoles |

Unlike with the Wii, Nintendo configured the hardware and tools to compile and port titles over WAY WAY easier like ps and xbox already had last generation. Tons of outside studios simply dropped making Wii versions of their titles because it was too much time and resources to make it worthwhile to bring them to Nintendo. Nintendo is still not going toe to toe in raw horsepower, but they have close enough specs that the Switch will mean pretty much any nonexclusive titles will be capable of being ported without any significant amount of legwork necessary to release that they don't already do for Sony or Microsoft.

Looks like they're bringing back the old 2D game style to the new Sonic game.
I get the nostalgic point of it and being different, but: Nintendo's target audience isn't going the be the ones buying this game. The youth today that never experienced the old Sonic retro 2D game style is going to think this game is lame. If anyone it will be the 30+ yr olds buying this. It looks underwhelming ...and I used to enjoy Sonic when I was younger. They could have been much more creative on this game. It's 2017 ...A 3D world would be much better...better graphics etc.
