Guys drafted in the 50th round or whatever do not play lazy and still become successful. I have never seen him do anything lazily. You want lazy? Look at Iglesias from the Tigers.

Nobody has done a better job signing bounce back guys than Dayton Moore.
Agree 100%

He's always done a great job of this. Even going back to Gil Meche.

Which reminds me of Daytons biggest mistake. Trey Hillman

And he stole Kendrys Morales too.

One question my golf buddy asked Saturday: "How much of Atlantas success was due to Moore given their collapse?" I didn't have an answer. What say you? I'm guessing lotsa Braves fans want him back ASAP

Atlanta lost a lot of key talent around the same time. Cox. Mazilli. Moore. John Schuerholz. Etc.

Frank Wren really ****ed the org up with bad signings. They're on their way back now, but it's going to take more time.

Sliding off the bag, not running hard out of the box, poor routes on fly balls, getting picked off at first. It may not look like much because of his speed, but those are things that he should've worked out by now that he's still doing.

I'm not saying he's a bad player. Shoot, a 50th round pick doing what he's doing is all gravy from a value stand-point. He could just be so much better.
