We just kicked the 2nd best team in the Majors ass. Now it's the 3rd best team's turn

Do Giants fans get the redass as easily as Orioles fans do?

Fantastic. I really didn't want another series against STL anyway.

They have won 2 world series in the last 5 years. They are now trying to add a 3rd to their recent gaudy ring collection. I'm sure their fanbase will be all "been there, did that, nothing personal, but we'll beat you guys too". If we win, they won't be very hurt about it, they can console themselves by watching 2010 and 2012 championship DVD's.

Not particularly. We are always the under dog. We will be in this series. No pressure on us.....
The Royals have already won this series according to the media.

So, you think the Royals have pressure? This team achieved blow jobs and free drinks for life just for making the playoffs. They could get swept by the Giants while losing each game 17-3 and the feelings about this team this year wouldn't change at all. The Royals walked into the casino, got handed a million, and told to have fun. And they look like a team doing just that. There is zero pressure on this team.

Pressure? It's the World Series. They both have it. The Giants have experience in the World Series, the Royals don't. The Royals are more athletic, the Giants probably more power. The Royals have a better bullpen, the Giants' starters are a tad better IMO.
Seems pretty even to me. I'll take Royals in 7, but I won't see it because I'll probably die of a heart failure long before that. |
