Bowe and his agent should be aware that their negotiating position could be weaker next off-season because of the multiple quality receiving targets available for Chiefs QBs and the quality of the run offense with an improved O-line and better depth at RB. If Daboll goes 60%/40% run/pass ratio and spreads the ball around between 6-8 quality targets, Bowe likely catches 65 to 70 passes for 900 yards and 8 tds. Be hard to ask for $11 mil/year with those kind of numbers. I think he'd be smarter to take 5 years and $9 mil/year now and enjoy playing for a team with a nice group of quality young players.

Yeah, I agree with all that. Doesn't mean he gave up or didn't try. He made bad decisions that may prevent him from being a HC again.
