See...perfect example of what I mean. I pointed out that the team needs to get better. You absolutely ignored that and went right back Alex Smith.

If you want to be considered someone who can talk with overall FB knowledge quit getting fixated on one person on a team game....and especially this early in the season.

Thus far there is only one QB that has looked outstanding thus far this year...the rest are getting settled in.

He has to be able to test the edges and not just rely on guys being open out of cuts. Defenses have 8 quarters worth of reasons to stack the box and crowd the middle of the field. They will continue to blitz with impunity if Alex is incapable of burning them for it.

Smith is a better QB than Cassel by miles, but what our offense is doing is not going to be a sustainable recipe for winning.

That's what Alex does. Game manage his way to ugly victories. But last time I checked your team was losing before he got there. Now they are 2 - 0 with him. Not "pretty" enough for you? A win is a win bud. Winning is better than losing the last time I checked. And you will do a lot more of it with Alex Smith.
