I liked it, but not nearly as much as I expected to. Probably would have been a lot better with the big screen IMAX treatment.
And really, I thought Charlie Hunnam was pretty bad. (Not that he had much to work with.) Just for scale, I thought Cloverfield was a hell of a lot better. That's disappointing. |

I just watched this movie for the first time in Blu-ray and could kick myself for not having seen it in Imax...
What a ****ing rocking-rolling ass-kicking hoot of a movie! And any pretentious ****ing artsy-fartsy type who has all sorts criticisms based on their film crit 101/human psych background can kiss my butt! |

I watched this last night. I thought it was a pretty good movie for what it was. An action flick with great special effects. It was a bit predictable, but what action movies aren't to some degree.

Bad, Bad, Bad movie. I reminds me of the old Godzilla movies, except the Godzilla movies had better actors.
