On a slightly different note, I have a postcard that was mailed to my house in the 1920s. Someone had put it in a window frame and it fell behind it into the wall. We found it when we were rehabbing the house.

We had to send the house to a quiet place out in the country for a while, but it's okay now.

I find that kind of stuff very cool. When I see handwriting from the 20's etc... I find it very interesting.

Yeah, it was kind of an exciting find for us. It was completely intact and had been preserved pretty well. One of the children of the residents had driven to a town about 30 miles east of here, which was apparently a big deal at that time, so they sent the postcard to say that they'd arrived safely, and only had to put water in the car a couple of times. It was a family that lived in the house from roughly 1925 to 1941.
